Sometimes, I sit down and wish I was a different person. More normal, so to speak. Sometimes I wish I had a CD stack full of Nelly and Eminem, and that I actually enjoyed that kind of music. The kind of person where my biggest worry generally consisted of not finding the right type of pants, and that my leg warmers didn't match the t-shirt. The type of person who really only does use the internet for chatrooms, and only watches Buffy because they fancy James Marsters. Sometimes I think that life would be simpler like that, I really do. If only life was more... ordinary...

But then are times like this, where I'm sitting back, writing my LJ before settling down to read Dr Jackson's Diary with a cup of tea in my hand, radio 1 softly playing in the background. And I think...

Who the bloody hell wants an ordinary life, anyway?
