Righty. Firstly, I will answer

cucharita's questions (oh, a normal keyboard is soooo nice)...

The swimming pool was in Interlaken. Adelboden went a little bit wrong for us. Between travel sickness (Me. On my birthday. How wonderful) getting lost ("What do you MEAN there's no sodding path?") and missing our appointment at Our Chalet, we gave up in the end. But we walked past the woodcarvers. Does that count?

I can't describe all the things we did. There were mountains and lakes and Girl Guides and Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts (boohissetc) and towns and fountains and tourists and sun and chocolate and it was all really good. I honestly didn't want to leave. However, I did have a very geeky moment:

We were in a place in Interlaken called the Mystery Park, which was bacially the Fortean Times made into a theme park. I cackled myself stupid at all the SF stuff though, which no one else got! SO much Stargate stuff in the Egyptian sections, and it was pure Babylon Five in the India section.

My birthday kicked arse. The Guide leaders phoned my mum to find out what CD I wanted, so a very happy suprise of waking up, going down to breakfast and being suprised with The Darkness. Who rock my socks. I also got a LOT of chocolate, a chocolate cake over tea and a Swiss Army Cow t-shirt. Did I mention that I now love cows and goats?

Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes which I'm reading as a trawl through my Friends List. I get a silly smile every so often. I'd like to cheerfully inform everyone that I stuck to one Twister a night (strange cider alcopop) until last night, when I was on the triple vodka shots in orange. I also didn't know until they told me- I just thought it was strong vodka. It might explain why I genuinely needed help up the stairs. However, not hungover at all, so yay.

I digress. I had a superb holiday. And I might be going to see POTC tomorrow. And if not, I will go by myself while everyone else watches American Pie 3. I don't care if it's got Alyson Hannigan in it, they're still crap. Anyway.

loneraven!!! I just found my birthday fic!! I love her. I do. I really, really love anyone who puts in HP, HDM, SG and Good Omens in one fic. *huggles*

Anyway. Still trawling through my Friends List but will give up soon. Also having a natter to Iona about why we shouldn't like the Maraduers (but do anyway) and reading my email. Two bits of feedback and two requests for the same stroy to be thrown into two seperate archiuves. I feel loved. And I'll email them back soon.

Ah, it's good to be home. Even if my typing is now a bit rusty.
