I couldn't sleep last night. I was tired, mind. I actually sat and read my way through Beyond The Hanging Wall (which is still one my books that I get out EVERY time I go the library) and quite happily put my head down on the pillow, snuggled down, and suddenly my stomach flipped over. Literally. And this nasty little voice in my head started rabbiting on about possible grades, and then I couldn't sleep.
To make matters worse, I went out with Andrew today to test out the journey length to Preston. To be polite about Andrew (since I know that he reads this, and laughed at me about cheesecake today), he is a very laid back person about all to do with schoolwork and the like. To be unpolite, he really never has and probably never will give a fuck about anything academic. (Sorry mate. It mean it in a nice way)
Therefore, it was rather unsettling to have Andrew freaking out about exams, and also affirming that "I couldn't sleep last night! I'm so nervous!" My entire friends list is freaking out, those who are English and GCSE age, anyway. As a group, we are all nervous.
On the plus side, Preston college is near enough to get too and I had to get up early to get there, so maybe I'll conk out tonight. Failing that, I may get drunk.
One word, I believe, truly covers my emotions on the matter:
Wibble.
