(no subject)

As some of you lot may have gathered, there is going to be a mass Red Dwarf weekened at [livejournal.com profile] shipperkitten's house, and I too will be toddling along, presuming a. I haven't got the Homebase date wrong and I'm actually working on Saturday, b. I don't get masses of homework and other stuff, c. I can actually find [livejournal.com profile] shipperkitten's house. I am notoriously bad at directions, and may need to meet someone on the train. Which in itself will be a trek, being the only one here on the Ormskirk-Liverpool line. However, it looks oodles of fun, and if we're bringing our own junk food, the more the better. Dibs on being Malteser girl.

No phone call from Homebase. Yet. Looks like I'm staying in tomorrow. At least until they phone. Then I have to go and post a parcel for Dot's new daughter, who hasn't been born yet, but it due very soon- a couple of weeks at bost, I think. Chloe. It's quite pretty. And the baby clothes are so small it's sickening. My head isn't that big!

And I have to do my homework tomorrow- politics, I think, won't be too bad, but media studies is dire in that it's so OBSCURE. The reference book was fun, though. I had oodles (new word!) of fun looking up Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley and Miranda Otto in the Who's Who of films...

Hmmmm. Bored, now. And coming to terms with the dancing. I am notoriously bad at making decisions. This little voice in my head just starting screaming "No more wing steps! No more TAP!! No more stretching! No more crap music! Wheeeeeee!" and now I am happy again. Plus the imminent Red Dwarf Weekend is also giving me a stupid smile.

One last thing- [livejournal.com profile] flickerswitch, what did you think of Winstanley?

The weekend is making me smile, too. To make sure no-one gets lost, here's the basic plan:
I leave from here. You leave from Ormskirk. I meet Becca at Crosby. We both meet you in Liverpool. Hannah and Clare meet in Birkenhead. They meet me, you and Becca there. The five of us go to Em's house.

How's that for a plan?

How's that for a plan?

Brilliant in it's simplicity! Even I can manage that...

Clare could walk to my house quicker than catching a bus... she usually cycles round or gets dropped off.

Would seem rather pointless paying for 2 bus journeys that end up making you walk 15 minutes to my house anyway.

We need to decide a time... I think the earlier the better. I'll talk to you tomorrow. :)

I'll get the bus, I'll be up impossibly early and it'll be better than sitting around waiting for it to be time to go.

Okay... I'll just sit at home on my own then... :P

We need Clareyperson there! None of us have a clue how else to get to Em's. My mother keeps on about buses and 72s, which I know you know about, but it doesn't mean that I pay attention when you talk about it!

So yeah, sorry Clare, but we neeeeed you with us!

I wish I were around this weekend to join you. I love Red Dwarf. Ah well, another time. Here's a new word for you...
'Globitz' or something like that. It's from Trap Door and I suppose is used somewhat like oh fuck. Heh heh. But I will claim it as my own. :)

[identity profile] hathy-col.livejournal.com 2003-09-02 06:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Globitz.... I like it!

Brilliant, I needed a new word!

I knew you'd be the one to appreciate it.
