"Life is great and life is good..."
I'm happy at the moment. College is fun. There are people there who are still utter, utter pricks but I don't see them very often. And that's okay. And my lessons are all fun. And I can wear my own clothes, which the novelty hasn't worn off, and I can wear many earrings, which is just fun, and I can get my nose pierced (picking up the guts to do it, thats the problem) and that'll be okay and it's all jolly fun.
And today rocked. It really did. Media Studies was silly fun, especially when she started talking about Eastenders, and when we allowed to venture into our own world of working, we started on a poster, which we didn't get much done on. Then it was English Langauge, which was a half, and so
flickerswitch and I met up and had a fangirly conversation. As you do. Then we watched part of LOTR, sniggered as there was the whole "Welcome to Rivendell..." scene, and ran away to creative writing. Where we were inspired.
There's this thing called versathon, where you read out various bits and bobs such as poetry and short-stories. Somehow, this has morphed into us requesting to do a Tolkien-themed half hour. All I can say is.... wheeeeeeeeeee! More on that when I get it.
So yeah. Practically skipped back to watch Gandalf die in FOTR, but I was in a super-happy mood for history. And I'm all keen on tomorrow. I do like this being 16 and getting to go to college and work and Being Responsible lark. I do believe that I am Flourishing. Although I still really, really hate mornings.
