hathycolWe have moved! All is well. By 'well' I mean 'some stuff doesn't work and we have no furniture' but this is SOON TO CHANGE. Maybe. We are Helping People Clear Out Their House. We have been given permission for this rather than embracing housebreaking. Problems aren't major though, and it's really lovely to have all this space that belongs to us with spae to dance around the living room. The wine probably helped with that.
The kitchen is beautiful as it is the only 'finished' room and we have successfully unpacked at least three boxes in the other rooms DO NOT LOOK AT THE SPARE ROOM THOUGH. No internet as of yet as Virgin doesn't think our address exists. I would now take this point to tell you all my address but I have just realised I'm not 100% sure of it myself. It is in Southport. Cannot be more specific. Realise that Southport is full of Protestants and Liberal Democrats (Dad's words, not mine) but now it has a tiny flat of one Catholic and one Scot who are both in the Labour party so that's alright.
The letting agent told us after we'd paid deposit and first month's rent that the flat above used to be a cannabis farm although letting agent in question has bought flat herself and once it's done up will let it out and find us tenants who will 'be our homies'. Her words, not mine. On the bright side this means that all the flats above and to the side of us are still vacant. WIN.
