Well, I'm back from another day at work. Why is it always dead for the first hour, and then the last hour of "YAAAAY I'M GOING HOME SOON!" consists of hundreds and hundreds of people, to the point of me leaning over the till and politely shouting "I'm sorry, but this till closes after this gentleman!"
On the plus side, I think I get paid of Tuesday. This equals the new Muse album. Yay!
OH DEAR GOD IN HEAVEN.
Shock news!
Firstly, my apologies to all those who don't know anything of Doctor Who. For some strange reason, it's never really spread outside the UK. No one else gets it. (It's in a Buffy quote, okay? "I've seen all of Red Dwarf! Not Doctor Who though." "No, it's not out on DVD yet.")
They are bringing Doctor Who back. Now, I've never really been one of those scary fanboys/girls wholoved it, since I wasn't really born when it was around, excepting that dreadful TV movie, but it's still a sweet little thing. And the best part? It's written by the bloke who wrote Queer As Folk, Bob And Rose and The Second Coming. It's gonna rock.
Um. Yeah. Where was I?
Ah, yes, last night. Came home from college (ugh, guidance, politics test and timed English essay), phone call from Liz about various Tolkieny things (theres my Sunday sorted...) and then off I toddle to Guides. Which was boring. Askd Mum to tape Dead Like Me for me. Did she? No. So I have to watch it tonight instead, which might not sound like a big deal, but I quite like sitting down and watching DLM and AG in a row on a Sunday.
Oh well.
Erm... what else? There's nothing else to say, I suppose. I woke up, I went to work (see above) I *squeed* slightly over Doctor Who goodness. As long as they don't change the music, and most definately don't use Paul MacGan as the Doctor, I won't mind either way.
I can't get ff.net to work... it won't let me log in. Actually, it won't let me see my log in page. Which is annoying.
Anyway, off I go to work on my odd Boromir rant, since I will indeed use it for TolkienAThon and need to work on it for tomorrow...
