1. Name your ten favourite fictional characters of all time and what book, movie or tv show they came from. (in no real order)
So you know, I'm making myself choose one from each fandom, and it hurts.
1. Eowyn - LOTR
2. Sirius Black - Harry Potter
3. Chiana - Farscape
4. Jack O'Neill - Stargate SG-1
5. Samuel Vimes - Discworld
6. Lucas Buck - American Gothic
7. Captain Jack Sparrow - Pirates Of The Caribbean
8. Fred Burkle - Angel The Series
9. A.J Crowley - Good Omens
10. Tenar - Earthsea
2. Name five fictional characters that you would like to have an affair with and/or marry, plus the source. You may disregard any pre-existing attachments for these characters. (in no real order)
Both are good options, by the way.
1. Eowyn, LOTR
2. Legolas, LOTR (me and bazillions of other people)
3. Chiana, Farscape
4. Elizabeth Swann, POTC
5. Susan Sto Helit, Discworld
3. Name five books/literary works that you would like to live in.
1) Middle-Earth
2) POTC. I want to be a pirate. I actually have the song in my head atm...
3) Discworld. I'd be a seamstress, but I can't sew.
4) Harry Potter's world. Who doesn't?
5) If we can make time go forward, I've always thought that I'd be a kickass member of Starfleet...
4. What classic/critically acclaimed work(s) of literature do you fully appreciate the artistic merits of but hate nonetheless?
To Kill A Mockingbird. It's good, and I get it, but you make me read it long enough and I want to get a shotgun to the bird myself.
5. Name five books that you would recommend I read. (in the comments)
If they're in the library, I'll give them a bash.
Well, today I went to

Another CD I quite fancy buying, then.
Speaking of pirates, it's probably fair to mention that in a few weeks time, there's a fancy dress day at college. Presenting... Captain William Cordwrangler and First Mate Jack Spanner! I will wander around college all day looking rather bedraggled and with no shoes on. I wil be the pathetic pirate. (With a name like Spanner, do I have a choice?) I hope it doesn't rain.
Watched Enterprise for the first time in a while today- Minefield. How goddmaned slashy is that show? Malcolm! Archer! Trip! THEY'RE A FRICKING GREAT LOVE TRIANGLE! Now, I know that I can't have been the only one to notice this, but how have I not seen it before? It's amazing! It's slashy! It's all-round really good! *bounces*
I'm always happy when I find slash.
There's something on tonight called Boudicca that both fascinates me and makes me think "what the FUCK are they doing with one of one of the only historically accurate female heroines the English have?"
Now, don't go shooting me down in flames, I know that we have some folklore heorines, but not many. It's not like we have Cleopatra or anything. And the Knights of the Round Table, and Guiniveire... not English, people. Very French, actually. Our folklore and mythology is just a mish-mash of various invadours throughout history. But Boudicca... well... she's semi-real! Many of her exploits have been talked up, but she actually existed!
And the TV series looks... well... oh dear. The sword is wussy. I think she was married historically, but a soppy love story would be a Bad Thing, and this is ITV. So I hope there isn't one. And the sword looks really wussy. And Alex Kingston as Boudicca? Well, she's English at least, and she has the whole red hair thing, very Celtic, so that's about right. Oh, and the sword is wussy.
If they make it a gritty and realistic type thing, then I'll be happy. It's not going to be totally realistic, but I dunno. Maybe something like Gladiator would be okay. But if they make it like a cheap version of a fantasy quest, I will be annoyed. Fantastical in places, fine. But all the way through then I'll get violent.
I'll stop ranting now. It might, actually, be really good. The sword might be better in action. I hope so, anyway. I have cookies ready for eating when I watch it. (Thankies,
