Technically, I should be doing my history essay (especially after my incredible "Holy hannah! I've found the notes!" shrieking yesterday. But pleh. I figured I'd update first.

My Friends List appears to be all in turmoil- either slighlty drunken party pics (you know who you are) or convention squeeage (you know who you are, too.) Either way, my own entry suddenly seems strangely dull, but I will post, despite the fact that I know feel like a pensioner.

Today, I met Andrew and we went to Southport. Because we're either a. insane or b. too easily bored, we decided in advance to go and see two films: Bad Boys II and The Italian Job. So, we turn up nice and early and go and see Bad Boys II. First shriek of the day was very loud in the cinema:

"LORD OF THE RINGSES!!!!!" (Multiple exclamation marks, alas, are a sign of graphology. Fangirls, you know the tone of voice.)

Yes. It was The Trailer. It was on the big screen, I have, admittingly, already seen the trailer. Once. On my computer. It is SO much better on the big screen. I also think I gave Andrew a heart attack as I grabbed onto his arm every time he made a noise throughout. And my verdict?

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! SHELOB IS SO COOL! She's huge! Like, really! And she's scary! And dude, CIRITH UNGOL! The Merry and Pippin interaction! Eomer! Oh, poor, sweet Eomer, and that is so the top of Eowyn's head.

Why isn't it December?

However, the whole viewing experience got worse after that. God, but Bad Boys was, well, bad. It was such a... laddy film. And I like laddy films, as a rule. I am a fan of Stuff Blowing Up, and of Fit Birds Getting Their Kit Off, and hell, I can deal with stupid humour, but it was so bloody crass. A script was not needed, frankly. You could tell the action with the button on mute. God, it was terrible! I really, really disliked it as a whole. Terrible, awful film. But then, Martin Lawrence annoys me and I have a sudden hatred of Will Smith after discovering that he wil be part of the team massacring I, Robot.

So, the film ended, and me and Andrew had a lot of time to waste before we went to see The Italian Job. And as such, we turned into tourists. For those that haven't experienced British/Northern/Seaside weather this weekend, let me explain. Spitting rain, gusty wind, and general freezing weather. And we decided to walk down the Pier in this. We're mental, I swear. However, we got to the end, spent a few moments at the penny arcade, walked back up again, wandered around Southport until, literally,my face was stiff with cold, and then we sat in a chippy on the other end of the Pier. Very fun and touristy.

Then The Italian Job, which was much better despite lack of The Trailer. (Although Kill Bill looks entertaining.) It was just... well... much better. Slicker. More entertaining. It had a script! And yay Seth Green.

And then we came out of the cinema, and sat in the freezing weather outside of Ocean Plaza, freezing to death, until Mum came to pick us up.

And now I'm home, and frankly enough, I'm knackered. Unfortunately, me and Megan are the only ones home since Mum and Dad are out babysitting. So I will sit up and do my homework, instead. Such is my life.

And TERYL ROTHERY IS COMING TO SG6!!

That is all. I will go now.
