You know, it's just dawned on me that I really have no idea about what to do for maths. However, it is entirely my own fault, I know for a semi-fact I'm not going to get below a C, so it doesn't mess up my calculations for Winstanley entry either.

Besides, it's actually all my own fault if I do mess it up, since today is the first day I've opened the revision guides anyway. I'll make up the points on the next one, cos I'll have revised much more for that one. Probably. If I'm really lucky, it'll be a good exam, like the year 10 exam- 80% with no revision. Then there was the mocks, and I got 34% with no revision, but thats not the point. :P

As [livejournal.com profile] purplerainbow has already pointed out, no one seems to know what paper it is. Miss "Super-Duper-Always-Organised-I-Swallowed-The-Revision-Guide" June doesn't even know, as judged from the fact she had to phone me and ask. Ah well.

Head hurts slightly this morning. As a semi-treat, based on the fact I woke up earlier than I planned to on Monday, I had my alarm set for 10.00am.

This didn't work. Woke up at 9.00am and the whole world seemed to be shaking. Since this obviously wasn't the case, I woke myself up enough to see what the hell was going on.

Turned out the industrius neighbour, Reg, was fixing something on his sticky-out bit of the roof. Which is connected to OUR sticky bit out of the roof. (I live in a semi-detached converted bungalow. Am I making sense?) And he ws hitting it with a hammer, causing my window to shake and the noise to rattle around my room. Growled, slammed window shut in an attmept to give Reg a hint and put my head under my pillow. The roof hitting stopped. I felt better, but was already awake so crawled out of bed anyway. Haven't opened curtains yet though- maybe he'll think I'm still asleep. Stupid neighbours. Don't mind Sharon, the non-connected one, since we get on fairly well with her. The retired couple connected to us are a lot more irritating, especially when they do DIY at stupid times of day.

Anyway... I'll stop babbling now, and I'll go back to maths revision. Hmmm. Maybe I should try Bitesize?

Or not.

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] shipperkitten I am now feeling very tempted to make my random costume over the summer...

Failing that, I'll go as a Tau'ri. No costume required!

Have been randomly making icons (and thats not even a particular talent of mine) because I've found a prettyful image site, because I can finally convert to .gif files and because we've got some of our old software back.

It has nothing to do with sciving revision. Nope. Not at all. No way...

Lalalalalalalalala.

Oh yeah. I am very, very bored, and steadfadtly ignoring my revision guide. Oh, well. [livejournal.com profile] loneraven informs me it's non-calculater, and thats always the easier paper, so I should be okay. Hopefully.

On the plus side, I have a 24 chapter fic with loooooong chapters to occupy my time. Wahey!

Firstly, a meme. To waste yet more time. :)

Child Of the Eighties Meme )

I have actually crammed precisely 56% of the maths revision book. In two hours. And I will cram the other 44% today and tomorrow, and will also learn French tonight.

Yay me!

They're the only two subjects I'm unprepared about, the rest I'm pretty sorted with. *shrugs* I'll get the mark I deserve. I'm back in tranquil mode again, thats GOT to be a good thing.

Jon and Justine are up for nomination! Argh!

And, finally, Emma B is on Radio 1. She's still my favourite DJ, and I'm gonna be SO gutted when she leaves to give birth. Sigh.

Anyway, namarie! ~Hathy_Col~

I have spent a bit of time revising tonight, and eventually came to the conclusion that I could easily manage 30 pages in three hours, if I had no problem with 50 pages in two hours.

As for French... I took Foundation listening for a reason. It's EASY. I was on higher for months and years, and then, three months before the exams, I flipped and flat out refused to do Higher, on the basis I was getting crap marks. Anyway, tried ONE Foundation paper, and found it ridiculously easy, but kept quiet, and am now going to sail into the exam quite happily and get my C. Mwahahaha.

Maths is not such a "sail-in" subject, but I frankly don't care, since I have a revision guide that doesn't even have my syllabus in it (sigh) so I've revised what I know, written down what I don't, and will cram during lunch tomorrow. It's a lazy, irresponsible attitude, but tomorrow is a day of subjects I don't care about. I think it's just the sciences that flip me, I either don't care or am good at the others...

Anyway. I'm off again. Namarie, and may a star shine down upon your exam paper! ~Hathy_Col~
