Jun. 5th, 2003 12:47 pmEnglish was... weird. I'm actually completely paranoid and think I won't have gotten the A I WANT but then I think of my coursework and realise that it'll probably round out back to an A anyway.
Again with the statement that I was taking the Welsh board exam, joy to the world etc, so we had one piece of unseen prose where we had to do comprehension questions, one piece of descriptive writing and one piece of creative writing (out of a list).
Comprehension was disturbing. It was about WW1 trench warfare, so I spent a LOT of time trying to not write historical facts, typical. But the really odd part? Two main characters where called Frank and Jack, and I spent most of it trying not to refer to them as Cromwell and O'Neill.... Oiy.
Descriptive writing was easy. I can do it in my sleep.
Creative writing... I ended up writng "Newsflash!" and wrote, frankly, crap. So... we'll see.
I should go and revise for RE and food tech now. Ugh. barbeque food and Marks Gospel, and I hope I never have those sentances together ever again...
