I've decided. The Darkness should be played for at least 15 minutes every morning. I listened to Permission To Land on them way to college, and had a big stupid grin on my face by the time I made it to the bus-stop.

Got to college, and did lessons, as you do. History is fun. Two and a half hours break was fun, and I spent 45 minutes of it it writing Earthsea fic, since I finished The Other Wind last night and felt inspired. After that, politics and English reigned supreme, and then I went home, content in the knowledge that I'm not tired (wow!) and that I have no homework.

Then I remember that I have to go to work tomorrow. Have a free afternoon, so I think I'll go home at lunch. Yuck. Homebase uniform is not flattering.

And now I'm going to go and read some more Bagenders which is hysterically funny, and even more funny due to the appearence of a community psychiatric nurse called Julie who's a bit mad. That's my mother in a nutshell, name, job and all!

And I'll go now. Really.

I can cheerfully take the piss out of myself, I really can. I laugh merrily along to any "geek" jokes, Homebase uniforms still make me snigger (or cry. Depends) and I giggle at student jokes, jokes about curly hair, jokes about lesbians, jokes about the English... the lot.

Now, as some of you may have realised, my music taste has changed somewhat dramatically over the past summer, turning me into a scary Rammstein/Marilyn Manson type fangirl. (Not a bad thing unless you're my mother). Hence the fact that this made me laugh enough to copy it, print it out and read it out loud.

Merry awoke, deep in the darkest pit of ordure, illumined by no light, but rather darkness visible which served only to discover sights of woe, regions of sorrow, doleful shades, where peace and rest can never dwell, hope never comes that comes to all; but torture without end.

“TURN THE SODDING ALARM CLOCK OFF!”

The screaming of the damned stopped.

“Why the bloody hell you had to buy a Marilyn Manson alarm clock anyway...”

I found it hysterical. I really did. It was even more ironic that I hate on Dope Show at the same time.

Anyway. I'll go and snigger somewhere else. Megan has more homework than me. Wheeeee!
