Sep. 24th, 2003 08:39 pmWell, what do you know!
Do you think I can convince him to wear the blonde wig and the pointy ears? *grins*
Long conversation on the bus on the way home that Orlando Bloom is actually a transvestite, but I think that's a little too much Rocky Horror infecting mine and Jess' collective brain. At one point, we looked at each other and starting to do the Timewarp. At exactly the same time. Very, very scary.
And, of course, Timewarp got me all excited along the lines of "Wheeee! Convention!" I'm so, so gutted that
nepygill won't be there, and ditto to
loneraven. But
osiris13 and
shipperkitten will be! And they'll stay at the party, and actually learn The Sacred Geek Dances! "Star Trekking across the universe..." etc.
God, I'm hallucinating tonight. Weird day, involving
flickerswitch striding through college looking like a leather fetishist, but she looked positively normal next to Helen, who I suspect is several chevrons short of a Stargate. (Stargate references abound for the next five weeks. I'm sorry.) But it's all okay.
Good Politics lesson- I got an A with this weird little squiggle next to it, so, stupidly I put my hand up. "Elaine? Uh... what's this mean?"
She begins a long explantion about how it's an N, showing that my A is to the power of infinity. I was *this* close to dancing around, before I felt the red-hot glares of "BITCH!" focussing in on my direction. It got slightly worse when Elaine, at the end of the lesson, hands out photocopies of someone's essay which I realised was actually mine, because it was the only one done in that font. Am I the only teenager to employ the use of Times New Roman because I actually like it? Anyway. I feel v. happy about this. It seems that I won't be thrown out of politics! I've only got to get somne kind of good grade in Media Studies and I'll complete my plan to get at least 2 A's at A Level standard. Yay!
Not feeling too super-happy healthy, to be quite honest. Yes, I know I'm whining about it, but I hate being ill, especially after thinking I'd missed out on the bout of Back To School illness. Ugh. Slept badly last night, as I always do when I can't bloody breathe at night, so tonight will be fun. Not.
Anyhoo. I shall see you all upon the morrow, etc! (Yes, hallucinating...)
