Sep. 25th, 2003 08:12 pmToday's theme: randomness, and also animals.
Firstly, ducks. I have always quite liked ducks, even the Psycho!Ducks in Ormskirk Pond, prolly cos I grew up down the road from them. Anyway, I know walk through the park every morning, and am surrounded my ducks. They're actually quite cute. And I've been meaning to post that for ages, and now I have.
Secondly: cats. As in ours. He's called Monday (don't ask. Even my parents can't agree why anymore) and he's old. About a year older than me, actually. He's also responsible for my contraception, in a roundabout way, and he tried to kill both me and my mother before I was even born. (Put a paw out, tripping my pregnant mum down the stairs. Could explain a lot about me) However, he is the family cat. He's always been Our Jules' Monster Black Thing when relative come down, none of my friends know he exists because he hides in the garage. He's an odd cat, but he's part of the furniture.
The fact is, he's dying. He's losing weight so quickly it's scary, even though he's eating a LOT more than he used to. One of his paws is curling up. He's not as energetic as he was. It's just... well... it's sad. It's my cat. And I'll miss him. Terribly. And I'll try and be less morbid now and move onto happier things.
College was a laugh once more. Media Studies... egads. My general plan was to do not too much in this. Somehow, I have evolved into Security, Props Manager, Rubber Glove Hand Model, Person Wiggling The Camera Around, and finally The Boss.
Eat my dust, Andy Serkis.
Anyway, I am merely pointing out that Robert is bloody useless, and as such I ended up doing it. But being The Boss has a ring to it. And
flickerswitch said it first, I'd like to point out!
But can I have a road cone? Please?
Didn't eat much today, by accident. We were filming until lunchtime, then it was Rocky Horror, then it was Creative Writing. And then it was all over and suddenly it was history! Panic! Luckily, Dave (history tutor) came across me in the corridor, and said "Have you had a sugar fix yet?" (He knows me so well, evidently) I shook my head rather pathetically, and he pointed me towards the vending machine and gave me permission to be late. However, it's proof that (Wo)man can live on chocolate alone!
Um. Yeah. Thats about it. I have a politics test tomorrow. Ugh. That really sucks. Hence the fact that I will be spending the remainder of tonight revising the seperation of powers and I plan to do the same on the bus tomorrow. Joy!
'Night, all.
