Jan. 3rd, 2006 04:26 pmI woke up at about 2am and made a content noise before falling back to sleep. I am back to my bed, and it is so damned comfy. I didn't realise how very much. My room is really nice and cosy, it has to be said. We also did the shopping this morning, so we have milk and toilet paper, which are all useful things. Possibly the extra value fish fingers are less useful, but still. Fish finger butties=crack.
Anyway. Today has been just a little bit of a good day. I'm still liking being home, although this will change the second I actually open some of my work and cry at the amount of revision I haven't touched. Sarah came home about two hours ago, and that was fab too. She also brought oodles of shopping, but more importantly, the TV was locked in her room. Score! TV! Hollyoaks! (I get desperate without the Sky, can you tell?) We are all going to see The Producers tonight, because we think going with Derya is a bit of a bad move. 'Springtime for Hitler' possibly not the best showtune for someone just home from Germany.
Also! I have booked my tickets and a train to Leeds for Saturday. Not only do I get to see Simon, but I get to see the fabulous Lizzles and her Student Pad. That's never a bad thing, and I am bringing the wine.
Budgeting begins in Febraury, when my bills get paid and more importantly I have time to get a job. Yay me and my cleaning abilities. It's impossible to get a job in retail or behind a bar, but no one ever wants to clean stuff! Except me! Who has Life Skillz in cleaning! Or something like that.
Oh, I'm so glad to be home.
