(no subject)

So, I'm sat here with a perfect ballet bun in and beautiful make-up carefully applied, and I'm waiting for the right time to put my dress on. You see, tonight is the Jesus College May Ball. It should be great fun, but I'm feeling somewhat bitter.

You see, due to security considerations, everyone has to be out of their rooms by 6pm. The ball starts at nine. Simon and I have, um, nowhere to go in the three hours in between this, so in full black tie regalia, we are off to Pizza Express, as it's the nearest place to sit down.

BY GOD BUT I WILL FEEL SELF-CONSCIOUS.

Also, for some craxy reason, I thought feathery hair thingies were the way forward for tonight. It has just dawned on me that they are black and I am wearing black. Basically, I am going to look like the Black Guardian which wasn't quite the look I was going for. Also, I am not so pro Turlough killing the Doctor kthxbai.

Also I look a little bit like I am about to take off in the manner of a bird of prey. KAKAAAAW! *makes flappy arm motions*

Simon, understandably, laughs at me when I do this. IT CAN BE MY PARTY TRICK.

*runs away making arm-flappy motions in a full-length black ballgown*

(I may post when I am pissed at about 4am tomorrow morning. FREE ALCOHOL ALL NIGHT BABY. Ohgod. Good thing this dress is second hand)
