My family turned up yesterday. I flailed a bit and gave up on seeing any more TV that I actually want to, except for Doctor Who, for all of the summer. You wouldn't believe the amount of Big Brother I've been subjected to already, and being dragged away in the middle of Big Brother? I nearly killed them all. Although I have resisted. Just about.
On the bright side, Simon is home. Hurrah! He's a ten minute walk away and in the same geographical area! OH THE MADNESS.
I am hiding in the dining room (why do we have our internet connection there, anyway?) and spamming LJ and trying not to poke my bruises at the moment, though. I went back to training today, and it was lovely to see everyone again and so many old faces, but just like the old days, my legs are burning (my trick is to stay very still and then run very quickly) and I have a classic bruise on my elbow due to the zinger Dan caught to it. OW. There is a lump and everything. I feel quite proud.
Anyway. Last night, I watched Fear Her.
