Feb. 10th, 2009 10:37 amRight, first class of the day is done and dusted. I am utterly swamped, but in a good way, and have been assured that the tutor is as mad as a badger ("over Easter I have no doubt you'll be celebrating the resurrection by drinking and fornicating, which I thoroughly endorse") and self is not entirely stupid. Unfortunately I only have knowledge of how Parliament worked in the 1600s and from about 1918 onwards, and the course is about the bit I don't know. I'm going to assume this is a good thing, as I do like me some radical Victorian politics, or at least when I read about the vague outlines, so we'll see. From another perspective, I have a 1,000 piece of work due for next Friday, which is in ten days. Oh dear. Anyone know anything about Joseph Chamberlain?
Anyway, I now have an hour in which to go and investigate the Union for a DVD player (long story) and have lunch, before spent four hours in work before another two in classes. And somehow run an evening event tonight. Man, do I need to get this shift at work sorted out.
9am is a cruel, cruel time to make arts students think, you know that?
