Oct. 26th, 2003 05:20 pmBuggar, bollocks, crap. Etc.
I had quite a good morning today, until it all went a bit wrong. Went out with Mum to see Fimding Nemo, which rocked. ("Mine! Mine!") Mum liked the sharks, but I thought Darla was hysterical in her own right. The music! *sniggers*
Anyway, I came home, with the intention to do my English homework (at least I've done it now, though) and I decided to sort out my folder. In which I found the terrifying monster-
POLITICS TEST!
Argle. On Voting behaviour, and how gender and ethnicity affects it.
And then a litle lightbulb in my head flicked on, and I remembered. College magazine article. I think I can blag on by tomorrow, can't I?
And I still have my media studies homework, but that can wait.
Thank god I have such a long free perid tomorrow, thats all I say. I can get an article and all the revision done for politics.
I am a Bad Student. But I always do my coursework on time, does that count?
And I know I shouldn't fart around on the computer when, frankly, I can and should be doing my homework, but there we are. Me in a nutshell. I don't mind hard work, I'm just big on procrastination.
Right, I now have a question for You Lot. And that question is Christmas. Yes, it is far too early to be thinking about it, and frankly enough, I'm not in general terms. But I had A Thought last night.
At SG6 (FIVE DAYS!) I am going Christmas shopping for Sarah, and of all people, Andrew, since he wants a Matrix poster with Naobi on it. So I thought, well, why not go shopping for those wonderful fannish people who I know?
You know who you are. Do you want anything vaguely fannish? Poster? Artwork? T-shirt? Calenders? Mugs? Keyrings? Anything, just let me know by Thursday and I can keep it in mind as I go and spend obscene amounts of money in the dealers room. *grin* Retail therapy for fangirls. I plan on getting a LOTR calender again, especially since I have another two months of orc/Uruk-hai to go. Which is depressing.
I'll go and do some work now.

Date: 2003-10-26 07:06 pm (UTC)Half term has been disgustingly busy, and I've been out every day. All I want is a day to sit and mess around on the internet, but it's not to be for a while methinks.
And I still need to do my article. Wibble.

I don't really know, to be honest. My fandoms are generally Pratchett-y and HP-y and sort of Stargate but not really any more, and I believe M*A*S*H has the tiniest fandom everever, so let's not go there, and so...
...and so this is not going well.
Um. I don't know. If something strikes you as cool, I trust your taste.
