Dec. 6th, 2010 08:33 pmI fell over in the ice yesterday, doing a rather elegant lunge forward into the half splits. My thigh musles felt like they do in yoga when I wildly over-estimate my bendiness, but then they were fine so I figured that I would be ok.
THIS IS NOT TRUE. It's either aggravated by the toughness of driving the loan car, or it just makes me feel it more, but I woke up this morning in agony and have been hobbling around the office. It doesn't help that current temperatures are hovering around -5C at the moment. I went to my parents to drop off the grandparent's presents and wangled myself into staying for tea as I couldn't be arsed cooking, and the car was frozen when I left the house. RUBBISH.
Also rubbish is that I was going to make tasty soup for myself for work this week but I completely forgot that I'd eaten my onion so tomorrow I'll have to risk the death run into Ormskirk to get an onion. Let's hope they tell me my car is repaired tomorrow so I can at least pick that up as well!
