I come from a Labour household... *shrugs* Conditioned response, I think.
And he was very hopeless. I feel slighlty sympathetic, but mainly extremly amused.

I also come from a Labour household, don't worry. And he did do some very stupid things. That three-line whip on gay adoption - misguided in the extreme.
