As such, I have no taken it upon myself to fill up some time and to get our production log finished. Or at least started. At any rate, it needs doing before I forget what all my notes mean. In all honesty, I forgot the video and have nothing better to do.
We didn't do enough research, however, and now I must blag. Oops. Although on the plus side, we have a lot to go on in planning. For research, it's more of a "We went to Film CLub, watched 28 Days Later, and then we went for a cup of tea and fell upon this really good idea..."
Ah well.
Last night was bizarre. Came home from college (politics lesson cancelled!) and slouched around a lot, since frankly I was absolutely shattered and truly not in the mood. And then I remembered that Stargate was on! Huzzah!
Well, this was a weird episode. I don't think it was Dion Johnson playing Chaka, which really changed his personality, at least to me.
I loved the beginning stuff, and the Fanon!Daniel/Jack. "You moved them?" "Go to your happy place, Daniel..." Also thought that the dead body on the rack thingie was, quite possibly, the most graphic Stargate had ever gone. Marvellous.
Disliked the lack of Sam intensely, although her one scene was cracking.
"How's the science project going, Carter?"
"You mean the complete diagnostic overhaul of the entire Stargate system, sir?"
It was the slightly hysterical edge to her voice that amused me the most.
But why, why, WHY another Hero!Daneil episode? Why god, why? I got all enthusiastic as JAck was actually at the opening of an episode, but noooooo...
Okay. I'll stop whining now.
I watched the first half of Holy Cross after that, which was scary. Gah. Hate people who use religion as an excuse to just beat the crap out of other people. Although I did like the way that they actually made an effort to show both sides equally.
Anyway. I'll go and blag some more stuff for media studies now. Joy.
