I'm trying to be pro-active, but it's rather failing.
I woke up and lazed around in bed for a while today, before, in my defence, actuall getting up and getting a few things done. This included doing the reading for history and my Christmas lists, and watched Dead Like Me so I have a free tape for Stargate tomorrow. (I'm so pedantic about taping stuff it's scary...)
The problem is, I still haven't managed to get the motivation to do the actual history questions (though they're quite easy), nor sor out my folder, nor revise for The Scary Politics Test tomorrow, nor plan the media studies stuff. Argle. It will get done, but I've been rather waylaid by my sudden ambition to find my Enya tape. Or, to be honest, search on various websites until I find it again. I was a bizarre twelve year old, but this whole album brings back so many memories...
Fun.
I also spent this morning being distracted by the Doctor Who weekend on UK Gold. While I have vague memories of hiding in fear at the repeats of the Autons (bloody scary!) etc, Dad keeps on coming in looking in terror every time there was a black and white one. As the documentary came on, he explained how they were all much scarier back then, apparently. He really did hide behind the sofa at the Cybermen, which is quite sweet, considering he was only about six at the time.
So... I will work soon. I will. I have to. But I'll hang around and read fanfic for a little bit more before.
