hathycolI have decided that I should stop spamming you all. It's cruel, and pointless.
This resolution won't work. But it's nice to pretend, yes?
So, last night. I wrote many long, agonised posts about James I. I still don't like him. On the plus side, the draft is done. Rewrites are easy and always have been. Then I never have to look at him again! Hopefully. At any rate, he doesn't come up again in the exams. I am extremely pissed off that I missed out on a History Night on channel 4. They seem to do them most Saturdays, don't they? On the plus side, however, I managed to grab it in time to tape Elizabeth. To be geekily honest, Elizabeth is one of my role models. Whilst I will probably end up sitting here and sniping about what was wrong with it, like I did with Henry VIII, Elizabeth has the distinct that is Cate Blanchett, who's an absolutely fantabulous actress. And she'll actually do the accent right.
Megan wasn't in last night. Sweet, blessed peace! I have no more to say about that. Just... phew.
As evidenced by the lack of my phone ringing and my email pinging (I like that phrase!) I am not going to see Return Of The King today. I will nag somone into going next weekend, however. It's taking over my life. Mum took the dog's collar off, and we always joke along the lines of "Egads! He's naked!" Instead, I came out with "He is naked in the dark!" Eep.
Actually, it's probably a good thing that no one phoned. I've come to the conclusion that today I Will Be A Slob. I haven't showered, and I'm still in my pajamas. After a scoot on the internet, I'm going to go and be more fangirly than usual. I plan to watch Stargate, then I'm going to spend the rest of the day watching the extras on TTT:EE.
Joy.
I'm cold, now. I'll go upstairs and I'll do my random fangirly things. One last thing:
