Feb. 11th, 2004 11:45 amHey ho hum.
I'm at college, feeling slightly disturbed because for the second time in two days, Dave has given us Time Off. Politics is also cancelled. This is weird. Surely our lessons - in which teachers are beginning to panic - should be, y'know, important? PEsky AS-Levels coming up soon ring a bell?
Last night I forgot to tape Stargate. I already know what The Big Event is, but spoilers will be met be sporks and stampeding Oliphaunts. Okay? I enjoyed Angel, though. Thank GOD, finally some Lorne character development. It took them two seasons, but at least we have some. Love Lorne. He rocks.
I have a scary amount of homework to do tonight. Absolutely nothing got done yesterday. I was supposed to go swimming, but, typically, Park Pool is being refurbished and Nye Bevan was closed. This is A Sign. I am not supposed to exercise until Park Pool re-opens. As such, I came home with a copy of the Guardian and for no reason that I have yet been able to divine, I read it whilst sitting in front of the fire and listening to T-Rex.
Have found remarkable discovery. Amy from my history class sat down next to me and started reading fanfiction! EEEEEK! She's a secret Harry Potter geek!
Practically squeaked as, for the first time in three years, someone tried to explain the concept of fanfiction to me. I almost died of happiness.
And now I must go. But.... eeeee! Etc. I have a lot more to say. Except post soon.

Date: 2004-02-11 04:44 pm (UTC)I would do it, but with my grandmother around I really can't. She's monopolising the telly and refuses to watch anything other than Hindi serials. That's a story for another comment.
