50p in the swear jar and it's been a day. Gyah. Am weak. The NSPCC will be able to build an orphanage and feed them for a year after 40 days, as Susie commented rather acerbically in politics.
Politics was a strange little lesson today. I turned up ten minutes late. I got sidetracked watching the original 'Ring' in a crowded media room. It's good, but now I know the story it holds less for me. The video is quite creepy, though. But anyway, I turned up late, rolled in, sat down, and proceeded to have yet another lesson of Powerpoints. Elaine commented that I was an 'ardent feminist, shall we say?' which made me laugh. Okay, it was my own fault for being girly, but it was a wonderfully veiled way of calling me butch. This always amuses me. We then learnt the difference between social democrats and democratic socialists. There is, in fact a difference - basically, the latter are the former but slightly more drunk.
So, I missed Stargate last night. El Parento Forgot. But I do have Angel. Angel is good. Very, very good. Wesley. Oh, poor Wesley. I wanted to hug him so badly it hurt. Oh, Wesley. This is the first time he seems to have had Non!Funny!Dialogue all season, and it was beautifully written.
Much better written than the crap that was 'The Cautionary Tale Of Numero Circo' anyway.
Today is cold. Very, very cold and still can't quite type properly due to this. So, I will do my media then I'm going away. This room is freezing, and more so since e're missing most of the insulation in the roof. How long does re-roofing take?
