Erm. Okay? Weird.

And I just lost another 10p since I just swore about that Passion of Christ movie to Simon over the Net. *tinkletinkle money* Well, it looks stupid. A piece of propaganda. Worse, with Mel Gibson. On the other hand, it has Monica Bellucci in it, hence the fact I swore.

Curses.

But LOOKIT WHAT I FOUND! FINALLY my application for OFUM has gone though! And look who I get to be chased by and who I get to chase! *squees*

Lina awoke with a start, and nearly managed to bang her head on the hanging garlic. For a moment she was slightly disorientated, before remembering she was in Legolas's room and the garlic was to ward off fangirls. (How well it worked was another matter.) The candles were burning low, so she must have fallen asleep, and neither Gimli nor Legolas were back yet.

Hmmm.

Yawning, she pushed herself up and threw on a cloak. Maybe they'd been hold up by some silly fangirl ambush attempt again. Either way, it was best to find out.

Just as she exited the room, she heard a low 'woosh' and quickly sidestepped as a net came hurling down.

"Good evening," she said to the startled student. "You would be.?"

"H-Hathor," the girl stuttered. "I thought you were Legolas."

"And you thought you would catch him with a net."

"Yessss.."

"And it did not strike you as odd that you managed to enter the staff section and get here without even a mini-Balrog about?"

"No.."

Lina sighed. "I suppose you didn't notice King Thranduil quietly stalking you either?"

"No, I. Huh?"

Lina shook her head. "Good evening, King Thranduil."

"Good evening, Lina," the Elvenking replied from half a foot behind Hathor and smiled. "I suppose you are looking for my son and Gimli?"

"Yes," Lina acknowledged, and gave Hathor a comforting pat.

"I believe they are in the gardens watching my evil counterpart and Evil!Denethor 'entertain' the students."

"Oh dear," Lina muttered, mostly to herself. "Thanks. Good luck, Hathor."

"There is no such thing as good luck when I catch a 'Legoluster'," Thranduil said, nearly spitting the last word out. Hathor did not hear him. She was already running. Not that she'd get far, Lina reflected. They never did.

And now I'm discussing going to Bloodstock in September with Simon. Yay! Etc. [livejournal.com profile] cucharita, are you coming? Sounds like it could be a laugh and a prelude to taking over the world.

It seems to be snowing [livejournal.com profile] loneraven's way, there were big foreshadowing clouds, and now it's gone all clear again. *wails* Why does it never snow in Ormskirk? Hope it snows for tomorrow. Really don't fancy going in...

I got Crystal too...
Its kinda more frost than snow over here :( have had the whole warning of 'listen to 1017FM for any news incase of heavy snow etc. in the now rather unlikely event of school being cancelled.
Would be 30p in then swear jar for me today... seeing as i dont think 'bloody' 'crap' and 'bitch' are that harsh to warrant a fine, lol... all be it of 10p. Man... if i had to put in 10p every time i said a minor word such as the ones above, then methinks i would end up being in debt rather quickly to a chosen charity. Lol

Huggles,

Did you get any of the spammy LJ comments about the Passion of the Christ? They're really putting me off anything to do with it. It's so rude.

Hmm, from what I've heard, 'The Passion' is an intensely powerful and moving film which inspires people to return to their faith. It has been much criticised for the amount of violence and for anti-semitism, but it sticks to the accounts in The Gospels, so it cannot really be criticised for being a recreation of what happened, in my opinion. (Although I am not religious myself.)
