Aren't people wonderful occasionally? Aren't reviewers special, special people who with a few positive words make you feel lovely?

*hugs reviewers* I feel all warm and glowy.

Also feel all warm and glowy since am going through horrible, nah, scary Dracula obsession. Spent far too long looking for Dracuporn (flickerswitch's word) and accidently (I swear!) found van_dracula during media studies. I could claim it's action/adventure, but I don't think that'll really go down well...

At any rate, I've ordered Bram Stoker's Dracula from the library, got out The Vampire Lestat and Queen Of The Damned so as to satisfy my urges for purple wankfest vampires, and then it's going to go on the shelf in preparation for exams. Really can't obsess and revise. Well, maybe a little bit.

Have sent an e-mail to SFX protesting against the subtle vote-rigging they're up to. Such is the level of sadness in my life.

My, that sentence came off worse than I meant.

Look at it this way - purple prose means it's a bit flowery, girly and pointless in places.

Wankfest - "woe is me! I am terrible! I don't deserve to be around other people... hey, where are you going? STAY AND WORSHIP ME AND MY ANGST!"

Combine the two and you have an Anne Rice novel.

I too question the purple wank-fest, but I'm drunk enough to ignore it.

If you're having a vampire fest, then I suggest you watch the lost boys. Great movie, great cast (sexy cast) and a lot of fun.

PS: Vampire lestat and in general anything by anne rice is a novel fifty pages longer than it ought to have been
