Small bits of time off, so ~~life~~ internet stuff is being dealt with. Apparently

nepygill is coming to Guides tonight (egads!) so I won't be able to sack it off in favour of doing internetty stuff.

I've concluded that perhaps I'm not revising hard enough for the upcoming exams, but then, I've also decided that I Will Cope. The stuff that needs revision I have a good few solid weeks to do it for.

However, it's English all the way from here, not counting the fact that me and rest of my poor, unloved class have to come in and finish off the politics course. Alas! Or eheu! Whichever works for you.

Last night, I finally watched I had never seen this episode before because I basically managed to buggar up all attempted recordings. This time, though, I caught it mostly by accident, and I'm so glad I did.

What a fantastic episode! God, I forgot how good Stargate could be. It had the old team camraderie of seasons 2 and 3, it had the action of season 4 (not that it had much else going for it, mind) and it managed to put it into a story that's been slowly building ever since season 1.

I just... wow. As episodes go, I have to say that I have a new favourite.

I'm going to buggar off and read more Anne Rice now. So I'm weak. I appreciate this. But on the other hand, it has pretty vampires kissing and I think I can forgive the rest.
