They're so funky and fun!
Anyway. Last night, I ended up just going
It wasn't very good, though. Now, originally I ws rather excited. "Andrew!" I cried in my joy. Then continued along the lines of "Lookit! Darla! Drusilla! There's hope yet!"
The entire episode was chaotic. It was just... silly, and I don't think that another episode like that was needed. The stuff with the Immortal was vaguely amusing, I'll admit, as was the entire Italian film feeling, but honestly. By the way, does anyone have a photo of the CEO of the Rome branch of Wolfram and Hart? I want an icon of herand her transfixing breats. She was interesting. As a whole, though, I wasn't keen on the wanton destruction of Spike's coat. I felt his pain.
This is the kind of episode I would normally rip the piss out of, but there was a whole other aspect that nearly made me cry. Illyria. Oh my GOD. The whole thing with her family had me nearly in tears... and as for when she turned 'back' to Fred? Nearly passed out from the shock. I kid you not. How could Illyria do that? I mean... does she really still have the memories hidden in there?
And you so know that Wesley wanted her, as well.
Kudos to Amy Acker, as well - even when not in the blue costume, she really pulled being Illyria off. She IS amazing!
Last shocker of the episode resolved in me shouting at the TV screen (to my mother's endless amusement) "NO! Andrew! No! You don't fancy women! Say it isn't so! Damn, you want Spike and Xander and preferably together!"
So, yes. Slightly pants.
After that particular trauma, I slept for a full 13 hours last night (and I feel fabby now) and woek up just in time to hear Daniel Radcliffe on Radio 1. A lot of people seem to be pro the idea of jumping him (
aramley I'm looking at you) but he seemed really lovely to me. Really into his music, and bless him, he fancies Brodie from the Distillers. He has good sense, this lad.
Although can't help but be traumatised at the idea of a relationship between Ron and Hermione. ?! I can't ship or slash the Original Trio! I really quite like them. I think they should be friends and they should stay as friends.
I think I'm one of about three people who think that, of course...
And that is all. Off I go...
