So, I am indeed back in college. I am actually currently researching The History Of The English Language. It's been a weird morning. Mammoth guidance session in the morning; I appear to have passed Key Skills Level Two. w00t! Now in English; don't hate it as much as I remembered, but it's early days. Potential dropping may, or may not, happen. I don't know. At any rate, it's actually quite interesting, the stuff I'm doing, not least because I can have long natters with

musemistress whilst reading it. *grins*

So, yesterday. Went out with

loneraven and we had a very seasidey day - we went to Southport, ate ice cream and discussed our merry way through every topic imaginable, including werewolf slash, het (!), Hermione being Head Boy (don't ask. Just don't) and pasties. Iona is writing some nasty, downright WRONG fic, but I won't describe. I will just point, laugh and shudder occasionally. Also brought Dad a copy of Nostradamus Ate My Hamster - he wanted an obscure CD called Hot Ratz (?) but I felt that his favourite author and hamsterz was close enough. It was a good day - we went and did seasidey things. That's always fun on it's own merits.

So, the History Of The English Language. I truly am back in education. Note the distinct lack of joy.

ARGH! Weird Chris Magee has just come into the room! *hides*

I think I had a lot more to write. It's got lost in research about Germanic tribes and Latin, I think.
