I need to learn to drive. It's urgent, as I go to uni in a year and I need to be able to drive to Scotland. Alas, I've just discovered the priviledge of just getting a provisional licence, I have to shell out £38.
Now, normally I could afford this. This month, I cannot. I have to shell out £15 for camp this weekend; I also have to take a further £40 with me to pay for upcoming events that need to be booked or I can't go to Moot. And since I missed it last year, I am not missing MerseyMoot.
So, that's £55 gone this month. And I don't want to spend anymore after that - I doubt my paycheck will cover it, frankly. To make matters worse, I've agreed to go to Collectormania 6. I wanted to go because, y'know, OHMYGOD SAM J JONES IS GOING TO BE THERE! And now Amanda Tapping will be there too! I've just checked the forum; they've made an official announcement on the forum. Yes, she is going to be there. So, that'll be the usual suspects going to that this year.
So... no money. No driving licence for Colleen until I get paid again in August. *facepalm* It's going to be a poor summer for me, I think.
Thank god the parents have all but agreed to pay for my first course of driving lessons...
SBRL is LOVE, SEX, and, DEVOTION.
But most of all, it's ABSOLUTELY CANON!!
But this just cheered me up no end. *grins*
