I'm naked blind confused!

I am, to be precise, wearing contacts. I'm finding it harder to focus upon first seeing things. This is not fun. Nevertheless, I shall also wear them tomorrow for training. Training is much more fun, especially as I've managed to get a lift. Hurrah! Despite the fact that we seem to have Real Proper Display soon. I find this scary. I just want to know... well, where? Will nag Dan tomorrow, methinks.

The point is that contacts are weird. I have decided. I am also useless at putting them in.

Today has been a long and boring day. At work, as per usual, but there was... nothing going on. So I just sat there and felt bored. I thought, quite a lot. I'm good at thinking. I think.

I've been listening to Red Dwarf in the background and resisting the urge to sing along. Heh.

Last night, I actually watched the Olympic thingy and felt terribly sorry for Leichenstein. One athelete. One. Bless his little flag-carrying self. I was also slightly disturbed to realise that there were a lot of countries I had never heard of.

All this said, I got bored in the middle and watched "Battlefield Britain." Wish I didn't bother.

This is one of those abstract posts, isn't it?

Oh! Yay! More Red Dwarf! I don't know who's watching it in there, but it's fun.

Anyway. Part of me wants nothing more than to sleep at the moment. My bedroom is relatively clean and I want to finish off Interview With The Vampire. Um, again.

And I will do so with my blessed glasses.

Ack, isn't it weird wearing contacts for the first time? The loss of glasses is odd, especially as you keep trying to push them up your nose and it just doesn't work! :)

I have a horrible urge to clean my glasses. Then I realise they're upstairs and I feel like I've abandoned them. I've hid behind glasses for five years now!

I've only had mine a couple of years, but when I have contacts in I feel the loss of them quite harshly, so I've given up on them. Takes me about 10 minutes to get the buggers in, anyhow.

Oh, god, I know the feeling. To be honest, I have contacts for sports related fun, because I'm fed up of having to clean my glasses mid battle. It's so embarassing...

"Stand and fight!"
"Give me a minute! I need to push my glasses up!"

Haha, that is understandable. It's better to get a few pairs and just wear them for things you need them for - or special occasions and such. Everyday wear? No no no!

i LOVE my glasses. i don't think that i could ever go and wear contact lenses. i have a bad habit of pushing on my nose when i'm not wearing my glasses... glasses all the way dude! :P

I know! I spent much of today trying to push my glasses up. That, and I seem to have an irrational fear of poking my own eyes. Worrying, what with that being thr basic point of contacts...
