(no subject)

Liz came around last night. We didn't have a huge chance to talk originally, as I was nagged by my mother to sign forms to change doctors (part of me was very, very tempted to just be contrary and say "No") and then my driving instructor phoned up. He is called Norman. I will have to resist the urge to snigger. I have my first driving lesson on Friday at 12.15. This means that I will have to remember to a. sleep and b. not get too pissed on Thursday.

I can't see it happening myself. Suggestions have basically been to try and sober up by midnight, and 12 hours sober should do me good. Besides, I'm sure the pubs will have kicked me out by then. If I go to the pub. I don't know.

Y'know, theoretically.

Anyway, came home from work and we ate a disgusting amount of food before watching Flash Gordon and laughing like lunatics. Everyone needs to see this film, if only for Brian Blessed/Timonthy Dalton trying to act/Princess Aura. Hee! We've also named Liz Slash Gordon as her superhero name. We then watched the DVD commentary of Descent, and then I think I may have passed out. I can't remember.

Anyway. We went out today to see King Arthur again. I quite enjoyed it. And Liz and Simon met each other! The Colleen Show spreads it's neferious influence!

This is a very short post. I am quietly trying to edge around the fact that tomorrow is Results Day, and I suspect this may be the first time I've ever mentioned it. Tomorrow, I get my results and I am getting o-so-slightly nervous. I'm not too bad (these aren't Ye Ultimate results, thank god) but... wibble. Etc.

Lots of other people will suffer tomorrow. I'd like to give a big hug and good wishes to the following people:
