Through the power of democracy, there is a Resident Lunatic trip to Liverpool schedueled on Friday 27th. However, [livejournal.com profile] loneraven cannot make it, and this makes me sad, as we need to have a full meeting before college/school (delete as applicable) begins again. Liverpool, however, stays fixed, or at least unless someone is offering up a house? El Parento are home, so I'm out of the question. You'd all be sleeping in the living room, and you've done that before, I'll admit, but there just isn't space in my house. Besides, my mum would ask questions and generally be nosy and it does my head in. I appreciate that all mothers do not do this. So... anyone got a house we can borrow? Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] loneraven, dude, tell us the date you're home so we can have a big meetup!

Bossy!Organisational!Bitch Hathor has left the building.

So, I am very, very tired. Last night I went out to see my grandparents, who were staying at Wigan, as mentioned. Twas nice seeing them again, as it's so rare that I do. These are the ones I get on with. I get on with them a lot more as well as being somewhat intimidated. Grandad runs a coach company ("Travel carefree with Jubilee!") and he was running a trip from Worchester for the Southport Flower Show. And in me and El Familio trooped to the dining room for the meal at the hotel thingie, as I was presented with a card. That had a cheque for £50 in it. Dude, Collectormania is not going to be as much as a struggle as I thought. What was slightly scary was the fact that the various guests (read: pensioners) on the coach trip all kept on leaning over and saying "Well, Roy? Which one's the clever one, then?"

Turns out he'd announced my results. On the coach. With a microphone. Whilst this is very sweet of him it's also slightly scary. But, well, it's nice to be recognised as a genius for a little while. Full set of top grades? NOT a defining trait of the Family Cheetham. Or the Family Westwood, for that matter.

And that was my evening.

It was absolutely freezing (well, it was for August) this morning and this makes me want to sleep more so than usual. Going to work was physically painful as I sat there for six hours. This was occasionally punctured by "What did you get in your AS-Levels?" When I told them, I was slightly scared by the silence that followed.

Ah well.

I'm quite hungry, now. Apparently there is takeaway for tea. This makes me far too happy.
