Words cannot describe my current hatred of Greenday. I've woken up to my sister blaring it for the second day in a road. I swear, I'm going to get violent soon.

So, yesterday was a good day. Went up to Liverpool, purchased birthday pressies galore (goodbye, precious money...) and then met Clare, and we went to see Hellboy. Well, it, was rather good. I was expecting a middling exercise in comic books stuff, with good action sequences, but wow! It kinda rocked. It was very funny, quite romantic (het!), yes, had good action, nice mythology oojy-whatsits and all in all I Liked This Film. Oh, and Clare? We did get the actor right for fish guy. Well, the voice, anyway.

Actually, it was a nice evening. Very warm, and the random attacks from various town-dwelling minus-IQ teenagers was also entertaining.

"Eee! Lesbians!"
"Actually, I'm a necrophiliac. She's a dead body. Well, DEATH, but technically it's similiar."
"What? Eee, your bracelet says Elf..."
"You won't understand the word after that. It has two syllables."
"Two what?"

Hee.

I wandered in fairly late, as the train decided to stop outside of Walton for fifteen minutes. Odd. Mum then made lots of jokes regarding peas, then Dad made veiled threats about baby photos. So, Clare's not coming around for a while. *wibbles*

I stayed up to talk to Dad for a while. About trade unions, and about American politics, and it was all very interesting.

And now today is Friday. Going to [livejournal.com profile] flickerswitch's later tonight, and [livejournal.com profile] kts2k's on Saturday. Colleen does not plan to sleep much. Politics homework needs doing. That Scene needs doing for Imedhuir, because I promised [livejournal.com profile] elentari_valie. But now I need to go and eat my lunch, do my ironing and what for Jess to turn up. We need to Talk. Shocked phonecall last night in which we discovered that a mutual friend was pregnant. My goodness. Congratulations to her, it's fantastic, but it's slightly scary. People are growing up, moving out, breeding... weird. And there's me, still living at home and suddenly feeling rather juvenile for doing so. Still, only a year to go...
