Sep. 29th, 2004 11:11 amFor I am at college again and feel I should post.
Goodness, my friends page is... unhappy at the moment. Maybe it's SAD. I don't mind this; sometimes life is happy and sometimes life is sad and I like being a voyeur and reading journals that go through all of them. Anyway, I love you all dearly and many positive vibes et al.
So perhaps I should be happy? Life is peculiar at the the moment, really. Today is Wednesday, which has come as a relief. Yesterday's work was slow and boring, and I came home and moped around the house. IT's not fair. New Stargate will be on when I am home from work but I'll miss the first twenty minutes. I need to find out when the repeat is and watch it 'live'. Last season nearly killed me as I resolutely watched Holby City and tried to resist the urge to flick over and spoil myself for the ending. Does anyone know what time they'll be showing Atlantis?
This morning was the usual battle of willpower to try and crawl out of bed, and I think that by Friday really will have lost what willpower I have left. I should try going to bed early, but it doesn't work! I just want to sleep more! I'm powernapping on the bus. Well, I would be, but everytime I feel myself drifting off I hear a loud hiss of "Jess! Slap her while she's not looking!" which result in my twitching awake and glaring. "I was just resting my eyes!"
So now I am in college. I have had a boring English lesson. Now I am free. I am being a rebel and not working on the basis that I have this afternoon free as well; politics is cancelled. To keep with that politics feeling, I will be sorted out my essay preparation for the test on Friday.
Some prat is standing next to me and making my chair swivel around. All attempts to move it backwards and roll over his foot have failed. I sincerely hope he's reading this, but evidently not. Buggaring lower VI.
Tonight I shall be relaxing and eating chocolate. And, y'know, squee only two days to go. Despite the Rangers, despite the fact I'll be penniless by the end, despite the fact Amanda Tapping can't go, I'm incoherantly excited. I love conventions! It seems more reason now, because the train tickets (mine and Clare's) turned up in the post. Squee!
Odd Spanish film at lunch today. At least there won't be any of the aforementioned buggaring Lower VI.
And I said I wouldn't do any more of this, but...
COLLEEN: Look, biatch, I'm wearing boots today.
ARTHUR: That goes against my principals! YOu swore you wouldn't need to!
COLLEEN: Elf boots aren't in the contract!
ARTHUR: Elf boots? Boots are put on. Oh my god, these are gorgeous...
They're so comfortable! It's amazing! I can wear them with my skirt and it doesn't hurt any more than my work shoes, and to make matters better I look sexay.

Date: 2004-09-29 06:40 am (UTC)You know the sort of suedey boots that are black or beige and come up to your mid-calf? Them. They're Elf Boots because they look really Elvish as opposed to the crappy scally ones that abound...
