I'm ashamed to admit that I have just spent the last three minutes grooving around my dining room.

*facepalm* Sincerely hope no one was watching. I will lie and claim it was the radio doing the offkey singing.

I'm just in a very bubbly mood. I think it's because my driving lesson has been cancelled and that always makes life a good time. I spent the remainder of the day at college bopping around as usual, and having two memorable conversations. Both involved [livejournal.com profile] flickerswitch. The first was quietly sitting in the computer lab, when a lad from my bus sat down next to me. He's a bit of a Harry Potter fanboy (bless him!) and we had a fairly involved conversation regarding Collectormania and whatnot. He declared he was coming with me next time, and Liz warned him he'd end up staying in the hotel room with three girls, one of whom was me. He looked shifty.

He left a little while later, and Liz elbowed me. "Does he know you're gay?"

"I dunno. Most people on the bus do..."

"Because I would so say he's hitting on you."

?! I seem to be giving off straight vibes, and this is worrying. I have a bad feeling Matt Gregory is gently flirting as well, and I'm scared. Poor, poor men. I wonder if "My girlfriend will beat you to death with a frying pan?" is a good send off? (According to Iona, today is National Coming Out Day. Huh.)

The next scary conversation involved brazillian waxes and bald eagles. Neargh.

Also had a meeting for the USA trip. Yep, I'm still looking forward to it. I am not looking to having to be there disgustingly early, however. And also I will have to remove all jewellery for the scans. Do they know how long a job that is?

Came home. Went shopping as New Look was having A Sale. I am now the proud owner of a black top which was cheap, can be combined with posh trousers for posh events (right now, I'm thinking Saturday) and jeans for the pub. Yay me.

I'm going to go and listen to SBPALOUD. Because I can. But I can't dance to it.

body jewellery does not set off the walk through door things. Stainless steel will only set off the hand held devices.

You sure? Apparently the Americans are so paranoid it's not funny...

Well, I'm unsure, but usually body jewellery shouldn't set them off, I mean, think about the number of people who have their ears pierced. If that set off the alarms they'd have to hand search nearly every one. Plus, if you did set off the alarms, only your piercings would set off the hand held one, as you shoulnd't be carrying anything else that could. & it's not as though you have any intimate piercings that you'd have to be taken away to show them, (well, I hope anyway).

I never set off the alarms at the Vatacan, and such. I never had more than earrings when I went to America but they never set the alarms off and they're made of stainless steel.

Thanky kindly. I think I have to take them out because... I do. Yargle.

And I do not have any intimate piercings, thank you very much.
