Nov. 22nd, 2004 09:50 amGosh, it's cold this morning. Morning lesson off and no homework that I'm aware of (she says...) so I'm going to spend my morning arsing around on LJ. Had a nice evening last night. After posting, I went out of the house to Liverpool on a shiny new train. They now talk to you. "Now approaching... Aughton." The woman sounds like what I imagine the woman at the Ministry sounds like, which is odd in the extreme. Got to Liverpool in the freezing cold, was menaced by twelve year olds wearing tracksuits and proceeded to the Odeon for Bridget Jones Diary.
Well, I liked it. It made me giggle. Apart from the fact that I was rooting for Bridget to go for the girl, it was just... silly. And it was sweet, and it was romantic. I actually can't think of a better review. Shame on me. I just wanted to use the cut-tag title.
I do have a Bridget icon now, though.
After that, out I went again, and it was late so I had to head home. Clare offered me a lift though, which for the sake of politeness I just couldn't refuse. *winks*
But now I'm at college. Quite an unusual week awaits. Recieved an e-mail from the transportNazi woman at college. This is possibly the most emotive sentence ever used at college EVER:
6 seatbelts were totally destroyed in an act of mindless destruction
Destroyed in mindless destruction! SIX WHOLE SEATBELTS! Le gasp!
I was on the bus on the day in question. Must have been on the top of the bus - I don't remember this happening. Myabe it's the curse of the top of the bus. We all know what happened last year. Most of them get lifts or drive now, and it's a whole new bunch of eejits. The year 10 I remember from high school were prats then. Looks like it hasn't changed...
So, today is Monday. First and last lesson off. Andrew is kidnapping me tonight, and tomorrow I'm off to London! With history. And I'm skiving work. But I also have to be awake at 5.30am. *dies* Friday also promises to be a good day. Spending the day at the Trade Union Council being generally socialist and mad (shut UP
endisforver you big Tory) before jumping on a train to Liverpool, scooting to the Wirral and getting very drunk in the name of
purplerainbow and
osiris13's birthday. It shall be a good week, methinks.
Tonight, Battlestar Galactica is on. I'm so behind in my programmes. I was three weeks behind in Stargate, but now I'm only one. Atlantis... I don't know, I just can't be done with. In fact, I'd give up watching but for one fact... Hammond is going to be in an upcoming episode! I love Hammond, and I miss him, so I'll keep on watching until that episode. I just can't wait to be bloody well done with Teyla and her earnest face. The show is just... dull. Sorry. Stargate, however, is still my first fandom love and there it shall remaind, where is deserves to be.
And yes, now I'm rambling. Sorry.

Date: 2004-11-24 02:46 am (UTC)sort of sexynot a patch on the Goa'uld. As a rule, the characters are very 2D. I swear to god, I have an urge to put an axe through Teyla's head.
