I forgot to mention yesterday that I got my letter through from UCAS that basically said "Yo! We've processed you and sent your shit to the universities! Ye Ende Is Nigh!" in a nicer, 'we're hip with da kidz' type of way. I stared at the letter fior a while in shock. Made it all more clear, actually. Now I know that there's nothing I can do, and it's all int eh hands of the admissions tutors. On a similiar note, lots of my flist are off on trips to Oxford, which makes me feel rather intelligent in a pass-it-on kind of way. I managed to get a text message from Iona and Lara within the space of a minute, saying "Hey! I've just seen your friend Iona!" or "I've just seen your friend Lara!" I feel quite proud of the little 'uns, mainly because it's the ULTIMATE proof of The Colleen Show.

I am digressing again. Sorry.

I'm still ill and wheezy today, which is why my typing is down the drain. MY head is still doing the vice-thing, and it's getting irritating. Every other symptom, however, has decreased, which gives me hope that by Thursday or so I should be my usual, perky, irritating self. I woke up at 9am and wanted to die, though. Oh, god. Family.

Nevertheless, I dressed and prepared to leave the house. We actually set off on time and had a clear drive of 2 hours down to Birmingham. Well, not actually Birmingham, they live in Birmingham in the same way that I live in Liverpool. They live in a holeplace called Rowley Regis, and god, it's dire. The ultimate sign of why industrial towns should not be shut down, because it creates sinkholes like that. Nevertheless, in to the house we went. Was greeted by the sign of my baby cousin - in the trend of the family, is somewhat chubby - who was standing up proudly and grinning. Oh, she's cute. Remainder of family are not. Dot is putting on weight scarily fast, and whilst I can hardly criticise her, she's unhealthy for it, and it's not good. Nan was... Nan. We got a cursory nod, I was given something in the vein of attention. "Oh! You're driving!"

After an hour of awkward chat, we went out for a meal at a cheap but... um... manky pub. God, I sound like such a snob. Highlight of the day was having the yearly snipe with Auntie Soo, who seems to severely dislike me. I wind her up by using big words. She winds me up by being small-minded and bigoted. Oh, and forgetting my birthday for five years ON THE TROT.

However, family shared sentiments and we left fairly early. God. Drive back was made far more entertaining by text messages from a drunken Emily and Clare, and also a phone call about a wonky Christmas tree. Entire family put in suggestions, which was fun. When I arrived home again, I got another drunken text message and proceeded to phone her and be invited to the posh Christmas Do she has for college. I agreed, and have promptly panicked since. Oh my god, posh do, and Clare's FRIENDS, most of whom I have MET but that is not the point.

This means I will have to buy shoes. Since it's December, this si the only time of year I do so. The last time I bought shoes I did so last December. So, it's only right I invest in some high heels, I suppose.

On the other hand, I'm quite looking forward to it, as it's an opportunity for a night out. So... hmmm.

And now I am tired and achey and should go to bed. I have not done nearly enough homework and the panic sets in when I start thinking about how much there is to do for the next two weeks.

What posh Christmas do she has for college?

And, yes, the viewers are watching you. Even in Oxford. Except, we're not in Oxford, we're out in the real world comparing notes. *mwah*

Icon - Teh Cute.

Do - well, I'm not sure as both Emily and Clare were and are plastered. It's in LIPA, it's a Christmas party for sixth form, I'm conspiring to get you along and Enid too and to completely gatecrash it. It's in aid of their Leavers Do. Which we are also gatecrashing. Oh, and tickets are £4.

And, on the offchance... if you see a bloke called Rob for English Lit interviews who looks a little bit like a dragon, jump out at him and shout GAME and as he goes to impale you on a stick, shout you're a friend of me and Enid.

There is a party at LIPA next saturday, to raise money for the leavers' book, or the year ball, or some such good cause. Alex's party was at LIPA, and they made lots of money on the bar because we're all underage alcoholics, so they offered the room to her again free of charge. She in turn has passed it on to the committees, who are charging four pounds for the cause, and we're all invited to go. I didn't realise we could take Others, though.
I would very much like to go, it was fun last time and I have a nice outfit, but as I'm working that day and the next day, it might not be a good idea. Plus, I would need to stay at someone's house again, because I can't get a taxi by myself, and I can't be bothered sorting something out. However, if Colleen and people are coming, I would really like to. Argle!

(Sorry for barging in Colleen, but I'm really desperate not to do any work...)

I'd like to go! I really would! You could meet people, most of whom you've already met, but you could meet them again. But I'm desperately tired, and lazy! I need sleeeep. I haven't had a decent night's sleep in... a long time. Ugh. I will try and come, really I will.

I need my head testing...

If you come, we get an Iona-shape too and it will be FUN.

Well, if you manage to go, I'd like to as well. It would be fun. We could double up, and annoy Emily... :)

I'm avoiding work, too. Written test tomorrow!
