hathycolSo, my afternoon. Jess and I wandered down towards the bus stop, playing the numberplate game (somewhat bitchily) and jumped on the bus, before trundling into Ormskirk. We then proceeded to go food shopping. This was our list:
-Cheese
-Ham
-Bread (Morrison's Bettabuy, in the end)
-Yule Log
-Fairy cakes
-Haribo Tangtastic
-Party Poppers
-Cocktail sausages
-Jammy Dodgers
-Party rings
At Christmas, there is nothing more fun than a kids party, to be honest. We came back and I made billions and BILLIONS and sandwiches. I have a faint suspicion I've actually made too many, what with the TWO full BIG sandwich boxes. Jess has mocked my sandwich making skills. She may be right.
I then got a text message from Simon, who unfortunately couldn't make it tonight. I cursed, and then Jess and I tried to do an essay plan for politics tomorrow. We both wibbled over it.
"Do you know about the advantages and the disadvantages of a single executive?"
"Should I? I'm more worried about the House of Lords..."
Eventually Jess left, as we both felt somewhat drained. I have now completed my Christmas presents, mentally giving them awards in my head. And I shall now attempt to be Cryptic.

Most WTFBBQ?!!!1 Present - Hannah
Fluffiest Present - It's a tie between Clare and Liz. Heh. I sound like a pimp.
Teh Kewly Present - Iona
There are more, obviously, but these are the ones that made me smile. I'm proud of my Christmas shopping this year - apart from the family shopping, which was the usual BURNING AWFULNESS I've done well for myself. No panic stricken toilettries for me this year (bar Sashcha's birthday present but that doesn't count) but instead... presents. Few of them have ben directly asked for, all of them have a distinct aspect of "Eh?" about them, but I like to think that this year I might make some people smile, and hopefully remember me.
