Christmas Eve
Dec. 24th, 2004 11:12 amDude, GLC doing The Snowman. Everyone should listen. Now.
*giggles*
Firstly, I can' give enough congratulations to
loneraven, who got into Oxford and doesn't have to study medicine. YAY! She's the perfect candidate for PPE, frankly.
I'm still in a fairly good mood, as I spent much of last night Considering University, and also boring things like religion and stuff. Cos, y'know, it's Christmas, and I played the angel for five years running due to cuteness and fluffy hair as a young child in primary school. Was never bloody Mary, though... Well, it's Christmas. Whatever your viewpoint on Christ Himself might be, I don't actually think that Christmas is the time for great displays of religion, other than possibly a general thankfulness. My Catholic self knows that Easter is the vital one, and I'll be religious then. Thankyouverymuch.
So, this morning I woke up and saw The List. El Grandparento will be here at 6 tonight, so I must tidy, iron, wash and generally be a good Elder Daughter. I must also complete Christmas shopping, and argh argh argh I should get it done. Tonight will be more restful, and in 48 it will all be over. How odd, but such in the nature of Christmas. I have not yet wished Merry Christmas to my friends list. As such...
A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A PIPPIN NEW YEAR, ONE AND ALL! I only have MS Paint. Apologies for crappy graphics.
Have a lovely day, whatever you're doing, if you celebrate Christmas or not. And hey, look on the bright side - Harry Potter's on the telly tonight!
