2005! Nearly.
Dec. 31st, 2004 03:12 pmLast night, after my moment of horror and general "NOOOOOOO!" I stopped cowering in fear and tried to do something useful. This was basically reading the relevant chapter of Coward's "The Stuart Age." I have found a new insomnia cure. It's appalling. Okay, that's too harsh - it's factually correct but arsey and generally irritating. I don't know who Professor Chandaman is, so stop referring to him, you sycophantic wanker.
Bah.
As such, I watched the Cast Commentary on ROTK:EE or at least the first disc of it. Fangirl moments:
1. Mr Pink in fact has a name! Gothmog! Although I think I prefer Mr Pink.
2. Orlando Bloom, despite legions of irritating fangirls, seems to be quite sweet. Especialy the whole "Okay, and now Legolas tongues Aragorn..." Oh god, but I wish.
3. Dominic Monaghan is so acting up the Domlijahfreaks fans.
Enjoyable muchly.
This morning, I have done nothing but continue the pain and suffering that "The Stuart Age" brings after I was chased out of the living room by my mother. I was attempting to watch Return Of The Jedi, but this failed as my mother does not like Star Wars. When she asked who Yoda was, I remembered why I'm still, to this day, partially convinced I'm adopted. Where it not for the fact I'm a carbon (erm, female, obviously) copy of my father I might actually completely believe it.
Anyway. A very happy new year to you all, may 2005 bring you everything you want.
