Jan. 18th, 2005 09:43 amI appear to be on hotmail whilst in college. Gosh. I feel as though a librarian will sweep over my shoulder any minute. She hasn't, yet.
So, this morning I woke up and contemplated just going back to sleep - my bed was warm, the room was cold, my sinuses hurt like a bitch. I got out of bed, showered, left the house at the usual time and wasn't even late for the bus.
The bus had other plans. I was sitting on it happily, when suddenly chug-chug-chug-choke-die. Possibly due to the fact that it was bitterly cold this morning, the bus stopped after about 30 seconds outside of the hospital/school and the bus driver proceeded to try and start it up. Panicked exam people got lifts within about 5 minutes of this occuring, and Jess and I just sat there on the chilly bus, discussing the frankly cruel way that she treats her boyfriend. We sat there and stayed there, and contemplated going home. Just as we were getting up to walk home ("Sod it, it's only a day") the replacement bus arrived. We were a full 30 minutes late for college (missed my entire media lesson as it was cut short; shame) and all in all it was an odd morning. I am still, however, chilled now to the point where I'm in gloves and coat for the computer. *shivers*
So, Tuesday morning. I have work and a meeting this afternoon. My skin is also playing silly buggars again, which is never fun.
Instead, I am now going to go and get a cup of tea and some toast. It's been a most peculiar morning. Politics next, so, it's just going to get odder.
