So, English coursework is EATING MY BRAIN. It makes me want to cry and wibble and bit and shout "WHY? WHY DO I SAY STUPID THINGS LIKE THAT?"

For those unsure of what I'm wibbling on about, the night before I got my AS-Levil results, I was pretty sure of the outcome - a nice sprinkloing of Bs, perhaps an A in history and a nice round C in English. El Parento desperately wanted me to continue with four subjects. "I think not," I laughed. "Only if I get four As."

Tempting fate, that.

So, here I am, suffering in English and trying to do coursework and my god I should have just dropped it. It hurts, precious. I can't do this! I hate this subject, I neither want nor need this A-Level and all I all I would quite like to go and hid in a corner now. Thankyouverymuch.

However, it does mean that I am listening to Radio 1 in far too much depth. Dammit, music is GOOD at the moment. I've just been singing along (badly) to The Futureheads 'Hounds Of Love' and if it comes on, just you wait until you hear me wailing along to the Kaiser Chiefs and 'Oh My God'. Yummy. I likes British music at the moment, but it does mean that I am even more easily distracted. Gods, but I HATE English and I hate this coursework. And you know what? I'm only three lines in.

Also, my computer is being a dick again. It crashed UCAS before (leading to fairly large panic because by the gods I really want to get a result from St Andrews AND I WANT IT NOW. (Still waiting...) Please.

So, yes, wibbling aside, today I have not done a lot, yet. Yesterday, I completed a table of verbs and catergories (yawn) and then went out with Simon, and nearly died laughing at least three times. We discussed being Spanish and my lamentable mangling of the language ("to El Chipista!") which switched into Russian. We blame the rather large amount of ssugar, eaten in leiu of a real meal. Well, it was a big thing of popcorn. We ended up watching 'An Unfortunate Series Of Events' which, actually, was very very good. And far too underrated.

And now I am stuck with the unfortunate task of having to do my English coursework. *sighs* Help.

*drags her butt to come and sit with you*

I'm trying to do mine too, minus the books. After frantic texts fired off saying words to the effect of "SOS you stupid sods, lend me your books!" the earliest I can get them off David is Saturday morning when he will drop them round before work. This means that I can only really start it properly tomorrow. Right now it's mainly "So-and-so said something like this [check in book!] which if memory serves me rightly means this."
