I am in the eternal joy that is college, proudly wearing a white sash delcaring that I am a supported of International Women's Day, with the name 'KITTY' on front. I was, previously, Gurindher Something-I-Can't-Remember but it was pink. I am currently wearing a red top, and as such, I clashed and swapped with Helen.

I keep on getting funny looks, mainly from blokes, but there we are. No matter how Cool and Forward Thinking my college is, the fact remains that I go to college in a wonderfully white, heterosexual, male atmosphere. Well, I say male - 60% of us are female - but it's generally... I can't explain it. It's Wigan, okay? If you know Wigan you know what I mean. However, since there are quite a few of us Alternative Beauty Queens it's not too bad. Besides, I quite like this look.

In the spirit of Women's Day, I completely blew my diet last night and ate piuzza at Rangers. More than I meant to, as well. *facepalm* I am happily now in the world of low-fat yoghert and ignoring urges for chocolate. This is helped marvellously by a lack of money, which means I don't spend as much in the vending machines. I have also managed to spend £10 today but that was on Leaver's Do ticket and as such is Allowed.

So, yes. Today. I am going to try and eat Healthy Food and at lunchtime I'm going to go and watch The Vagina Monologues. Yay me!

And finally, finally, kittyc1978 has really and truly made my week. She's brought me two months of paid time! I don't know if I've said it often enough, but she is an utter star, and I am going to try and work out a repay her. Hmmm. Legolas probably won't fit in the mail from England, so I'll have to see.

[ETA: Erm, having just checked by mail I'm a leetle bit confused. Kelley, wonderful human being that she is, gave me two months that kicks in tomorrow. However, I have also been gifted six months anonymously. I actually just made a little squeaking noise at the computer, and then had to go quiet because I am so not meant to be on hotmail, sneaky backdoor entrace or not. I mean... thank you, whoever you are! I want to thank you properly - e-mail me or something? Either way, I'm chuffed. I didn't think anyone cared that much! Thankies!]

unfortunately it wasn't the full version of The Monologues... we read the vagina happy fact, then showed My Angry Vagina, Because He Liked to Look at it, The Little Coochie Snorcher That Could, My Short Skirt, The Flood and Reclaiming Cunt. We thought about putting in the unhappy fact as well - stuff about genital mutilation - but it's a bit too much of a downer to end on and doesn't go well before Reclaiming Cunt. But meh - i'm damn proud of my actresses!
oh, and it was gurinda chadha i think.
