Apr. 19th, 2005 12:12 pmI'm in a strange little bubble at the moment. I should be doing concentrating on my media or more crucially, my theory test which is tomorrow and I haven't passed a single mock for yet. In fact, I am panicking a little bit about the second half, but for the most part, I couldn't care less. I spent much of yesterday being the snarky bitch-face from hell, in which I wasn't very nice but damn I was funny. You knowm if my indiscriminate rage wasn't thrown at you. This included a rant in history in which I quietly infomred Dave that when the revolution came, my old headmaster would be first against the wall. He looked slightly scared.
Now I think I'm slightly more sane, even if I am in my little cocoon. I spent Monday night running around indoors playing four a side football (I got three goals! All in my team's goal! Not good) in my pajamas all in the name of charidee, so I'm feeling a little bit silly now. I'm also still in the happy world that is fandom. It's nice being thoroughly enveloped again, this time by Doctor Who, completely and utterly. Noel Clarke, who plays Mickey, is coming along. *dies* Do I have any money for this convention? Alas, no. But I am being paid on Thursday and I have some money coming in between now and then *crosses fingers* so it should be all good fun. No one told me Lalla Ward was coming! She's my favourite Not Rose assistant!
*is skinted*
So, yes. My little bubble is pleasent. I have no work tonight as I've been taken off Tuesday evenings so Andrew is coming around. This does lead to interesting questions as to when I am going to sit down and learn the theory thingie. I may make Andrew join in the Attempt To Make Colleen Psss Her Driving Test Before June Please. Because this is getting ridiculous. I know I need to pass this, I'm just strangely unwilling to try. It would be so embarassing to fail the theory, it really would. Also, £20 down the drain.
I kick ARSE at hazard perception though. "PEOPLE! HAZARD! TRAFFIC LIGHT! HAZARD! ROAD! HAZARD!"
And that is all that needs to be said about my life. I am a big Doctor Who geek, I am going to a convention in ten days, I am probably going to fail media (have finished project! Just not, erm, sound levels. Which is probably important in radio, yes?) and I am almost certainly going to fail my theory test.
Such is life.
