Computer is completely and utterly fucked. We have some sort of Trojan horse that activated on Friday. I've spent all of my Saturday evening and Sunday trying to resource, reboot and finally reinstall all of XP. Nothing has worked. New computer being seriously discussed in family circles. We've had this computer since 1998, so it really might be time to give up the ghost. Will be updating properly in college, but after that, who knows?

And I had such pretty photos of me. In a dress! With make-up! And straight hair! And all the Lunatics (and Sara) looking absolutely fabulous too!

How annoying. That is all. Hopefully I'll manage to keep the internet window open for long enough to send the basic message of "I'm not dead! But compeeh is."

What's your computer actually doing?

Make sure you format the HD before re-installing XP. If it's a trojan, re-installing may not be enough. And have good virus protection software; I could get you some free ones if you can't afford the premium stuff.

I am sorry for your loss. truly. But as you said yourself it may be time to move on to newer, better things.
