I want to give very big hugs to everyone leaving college today. Today is my last Friday. People are signing my Leaver's Book (admittingly along the lines of "Colleen, you look like a mole!/are a big alcoholic/are scary and we love you for it!") and I'm signing theirs (Cara's went on for five pages and I'm still not finished. Ah, American memories) and all in all there's a very melancholy atmosphere in the air. There are threats to cry at some point this week, and the wonder that is my body has timed PMT for next week. Oh, god.

I want to make a bit of a post about Why Winstanley Meant A Lot To Me (even though I'm not in the kind of strange school system where I've been there since the year dot) but really, it feels silly to do it on a college computer. New compeeh is coming on Tuesday, and Dad has grimly informed me that "it's your responsibility", which means I'll be up all night with the computer technician coming to sort it out. Good fun. BUT YAY NEW COMPUTER. I have dibs on the old one, presuming I can find (and afford) someone to come and wipe the entire thing and start afresh. For some reason I'm tempted to put racing stripes down one side of it.

My skin has flared up again in the same damn spot. There has got to be something up with this - it was SO CLOSE to healing up, it got knocked on Wednesday night, and now it is back. IT HAD BEST BE GONE BY NEXT FRIDAY.
