Jun. 23rd, 2005 01:15 pmToday, I did a general studies exam which I rather enjoyed. Mostly because instead of answering a question, I wrote a note to the examiner:
"Are you bored? I am. You're a professional, probably with a distinguished career, and you're forced into marking this dross. I'm sorry about that, I really am. Frankly, I don't want to be here either. I'd rather be asleep, if we're being absolutely honest. Still, we all sit here and play out this farce. Again, sorry my answers are bad."
I then crossed it out whilst leaving it perfectly legible, so I don't lose any marks whilst also giving the examiner a laugh. Hopefully. I had good fun with the final question, which was about private education and healthcare, and wrote a blistering three pages on The Evils Of Private Healthcare And Education, going somewhat over the top. I may well have written 'viva la revolution!' in there somewhere. It was good fun, and actually rather enjoyable in a funny sort of way.
So, I wanted to go home after that, but oh no. It is so hot outside that I will burn should I attempt The Perilous Crossing Of The M58 to try and get the 395. (I'm so PALE it's depressing.) Lunchtime services from college aren't on. And Dad is working a late. But I need to be at home on the basis that I'm supposed to be waiting for a phone call about the housekeeping job. But oh no. I am at college with no chance of a lift. Ugh. Sods law, that.
In other news, only three more exams to go until freedom. With surprisingly little to revise for all of them. What with the 6 marks needed for politics WHEEEEEEEEE.

Date: 2005-06-23 02:47 pm (UTC)I did that! Didn't write "viva la revolution!" but did write something along the lines of Thatcherite thinking being the cornerstone of moral degeneration and diminished social responsibility. Slight attack of verbosity there.

Date: 2005-06-24 09:19 am (UTC)How did you get flying cars in? I have to know.

Date: 2005-06-24 12:05 pm (UTC)I think that is a perfectly viable solution. I did read in the paper some crazy American had developed a flying car... just that it didn't fly yet.
Oh and I too mentioned the evils of privatisation in the rail network. I knew you'd do the private healthcare/eductation one :p
I did that in my A-levels too...

Also, I seem to remember you left without getting cake. Not to worry, we can fix this on Monday ^_^
